400HP 5.0l Ford motor
I was planning to do a 5.0 Miata swap and had this one built the right way from the bottom up. Late 80's block, boiled/mag'd/decked, new Kieth Black 10.5:1 pistons, crank polished and balanced, nice roller cam with new lifters and guides, new everything internal... receipts for very near $3k. Then there are the heads... 52 cc iron heads ported and polished by Dyno-time of Prospect Ct. There is a Weiend intake that was gasket matched if you want to run a carb or use your EFI if it suits you.
This engine needs head gaskets, push rods and rockers and a waterpump to run. I wouldn't buy an engine I couldn't see inside of so I don't expect you to.
I decided to go with the LS-1 that is in the barn instead so this one has to go. I'd like $2637 for it and I will include the stand with it. I am willing to deliver and will make a generous donation to the site when it sells.
Thanks for looking... Chris 203-232-8298
