Renegade run to Stowe, Vermont
We are planning a fun and scenic driving trip to Stowe, Vermont, and surrounding areas. The plan is to meet up someplace on the way to Stowe Saturday morning, October 9, spend one or two nights in Stowe and drive a northern route (Smugglers Notch) on Saturday and a southern route (Appalachian Gap) on Monday before returning home. The Riverside Inn in Stowe has rooms in their lodge at a reasonable price of $79 or $89 with a common area we can use to gather in the evenings. The Stowe Motel and Snowdrift is located close by and offers more tradtional room options (2 queen beds, efficiencies) for $160.
Please e-mail denis@renegademiata.net ASAP if you are interested in participating in this run. We need to get a sense of how many people are going. Since this is leaf season and a long weekend, hotel rooms in Vermont are tight. I will e-mail everyone who responds and post updates on the Club's forum and send out more info as we get closer to the event.

Re: Renegade run to Stowe, Vermont
Notice! The “Run to Stowe” is canceled. Instead, we will make a day trip to Western Mass along Jacob’s Ladder Trail on Saturday, October 9, traveling Route 20 from Westfield to Russell, Huntington, Chester, West Beckett, Lee and ending at Stockbridge for lunch.
"The Jacob's Ladder Trail originated centuries ago when people from the Mohican and Woronoake tribes walked between Connecticut and the Hudson River Valleys. Extending through the Berkshire Hills, it is one of the most beautiful roads in the United States."
After spending some time in Stockbridge, we’ll drive back to Lee. For those who are interested, there is a very nice, new outlet mall right off the Turnpike. There is more info on the website Click Here . E-mail denis@renegademiata.net if you want to join us.
