Vineyard Tour, Saturday, September 17
Meet at 10:00 am at the Park and Ride at intersection of route 95 and rte 113, near Newburyport. We’ll drive to Jewell Towne Vineyards in South Hampton, NH and stay there for about an hour. We’ll then drive to Zorvino Vinyard in Sandown, NH and stay there for about an hour before driving on to Casey’s Diner for a bite to eat near the Mass/New Hampshire border and route 495 to make it easy for people to get on the road home.

Maine Lighthouse Driving Tour, October 7th to 9th

This will be a driving tour in the Mid-Coast area of Maine. We will caravan up to Maine during the day Friday, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon. After a little down time, we will re-group and drive some wonderful backroads through inland Maine and work our way to the scenic coast in the Northport ME area ending up at the Lobster Pound for and authentic Maine seafood feast. On Saturday we will head south primarily along coastal roads and visit the historic lighthouses of Owls Head (1/4 mile walk along the ocean or beautiful picnic area), Marshall Point (where a scene from Forest Gump was filmed) and Pemaquid Point ($2 entrance fee). We will then wind our way back up to the hotel utilizing inland routes around Damariscotta Lake. On Sunday, we will Visit the Owls Head Transportation Museum for a couple of hours before heading home.
