Cross-club competition

BMW is thinking abou a cross clubs competition Saturday, May 10 at Devens. Format is teams of 4 from each club (multiple teams are possible). 80 drivers for the event, 5 morning runs and 5 afternoon runs. Cars will be paxed according to SCCA pax system. A case of beer will go to the winning team. Let's see if we have any interest in coming up with teams and beating the other clubs!

This sounds like fun! Question; Do the RMC teams have to be made up of Miatas/Mazdas or simply RMC members?   

Doesn't matter what you drive just need to be a member. I know we have many great drivers and could make up a few teams if there is room. Many of our drivers do belong to other clubs as well so they would have to decide what club they are running for.

A case of beer? For 40 drivers? That's an exceedingly low quality for mass consumption (I should be back by then and will drive for RMC if a team is formed).

The way I read the OP it says teams of 4 and the winning team gets the beer. Sounds good to me (unless we are talking about a six pack haha)

Registration for the event won't be opening until April 10 or 11. Matt, you are right 1 case of beer divided among the winning team. Looks like we should have some fun anyway.

Add my name for now as long as I can co-drive with someone.  The wagon won't be competitive enough for this.
